Reading some of these online blogs you start to realize what it's all about... it's not risking your life for amazing, out of this world sex, but risking it for what wouldn't necessarily be even GOOD sex... and would probably be lost in a blur of low self-esteem, fear and general misery.

This guy has absolutely no social support network. He is isolated, miserable and sad... the worst part is, he seems like a nice guy. Creative, intelligent, even cultured... but addicted to random encounters.

I'm not trying to tell people what they should and shouldn't do, but just that as far as I'm concerned, this stuff is a solid argument in favor of monogamy.

I found it a very interesting read. Was it actually biographical or perhaps enhanced somewhat. Actually, I have met ppl like him and in my youth in the '70s it was not unusual at all to carry on as he is.

Altho I never went into the bath house anonymous sex as described in this blog, I did have sex with ppl I did not know and did pick up a guy off the street from my front window on Bourbon at St. Ann in New Orleans and had sex with him in my apartment on the spot. It may be more the nature of male sexuality than developing a relationship.

No, don't worry about the guy who wrote this blog. He knows of human relationships and just by the way it is written shows feeling. I once postulated at a very young age that even within the confines of the business arrangement, you even have a relationship with the prostitute you hire. He seems to indicate that in the blog.
