Read the Damon Albarn interview in Q today. Blur did have a fairly long and successful career. I quite dig them. How would you rank their catalogue?
For me, it's:
1. 13
2. Blur
3. Parklife
4. Leisure
5. The Great Escape
6. Modern Life Is Rubbish
7. Think Tank
I'm not all that familiar with Modern Life now I think about it. Pretty sure it's better than Think Tank though ;)

I was quite into them at one stage, but they're a band I feel I left behind a long time ago. If I were to listen to anything by Blur these days I think it'd be "Song 2" or possibly "She's So High" off of Leisure for purely nostalgic reasons! I have a few of the albums but they haven't been listened to for a very long time! Graham Coxon was the talent in the band and I've followed his solo career with interest:) Albarn Schmalbarn:tongue:

Haven't heard any of Coxon's solo efforts. I caught him doing a live show for Channel 4 a while back...Seemed canny enough (and 'Freakin' Out' is a great tune), but he doesn't seem like an artist I'd pop on, just sitting about the house.
Personally I wouldn't say he was the talent in Blur  I think I'd take both Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad and The Queen over Graham Coxon - Putting Albarn well in the lead!
I like Blur a lot more these days than when they were active. At the time I suppose I found them a bit weirder than their poppyish singles let on. Like, I heard 'Song 2' and thought, wow, Blur are going very rock and roll. Sounds good. And then would hear something like 'Death of a Party' on the same album and think, what's this nonsense?
Complete switch nowadays though, what I thought was too weird at 15 or whatever, sounds really quite impressive now.
