I always find shopping channels, bidding channels and quiztv channels annoying, but addictive to watch. when you see a four thousand pound necklace go for the price of a playstation 3, then you wonder why one hasn't taken part. I did a rescan only to find Gemstv on channel 43.

I can see where this is going. More shopping channels. Next, channel 15 once Abc1, will probably become Gems Tv +1hr.

I hated it the other day when the St Pancras station opening was being shown. The moment the news team opened their mouth, suddenly we shot straight to blazing wreckages and chimney sweep shows ankle scandle. So much for coverage of what can only be described as an epoch making moment:(

What are your tv moans?

oh my ... my mother-in-law watches GemsTV as a recreational hobby.
unfortunately, this means when i go over during the day I end up having to watch it as well. *yawns* thing is she gets sucked in to 'what a great deal' it supposedly is and buys things she can't afford and ends up having to cancel the order or send them back (or just live with my father-in-law being pissed off at her). i loathe shopping channels.

my biggest tv moan is incessantly loud commercials. i know commercials (though i hate them) are a necessary part of telly as they pay to help put the shows on, but why oh why do you need the volume set at 7 when the program is on, but then the commercial comes on and it's so blaring loud that you wake the neighbours, and you better hope you are near the remote at these times to quick turn it down to about 3 on the volume control; but then when the program comes back on, you can't bloody hear it and have to repeat this process all over again.

I don't like it when BBC2 decide it best to show Ceefax instead of a repeat of lets say Dragons Den. Instead you get ceefax 2 and some jazz music which could pass itself off as suicidal blues or some kind of muzak.

I do miss the clown and the girl. I didn't like the clown very much.
