Hello all!

My first post! I just signed up butI've known about the forum for a while. I think I picked a username that's a bit too, um, gay. Can I change it? This is what friends call me by way of a nickname, so maybe it's ok.

Anyway, anyway. I was looking on 'urbandictionary.com,' quite a silly site full of silly words, and I came across a word that my room-mate when I was at college in NYC (an exchange program, I'm a Yorkshireman at heart) used to use lots. I thought that he'd made it up, but there it is in the urban dictionary. 'Hemi', meaning an erection that (I presumed from the context in which M always used it) a straight guy gets when confronted with the nakedness of another guy. I thought it was just another stupid thing that he said, but there it is in the urban dictionary! It made me feel quite nostalgic! I voted for it! Maybe you could vote for it too! (the number one sot is taken up by some entry about a car engine - I'd love to see it ousted).
Has anyone else ever heard of this word? (Someone must have, it's got a couple of dozen votes.)
