Unless the fourth film is amazing or highly original, I think it's a big mistake. The third one was so dire, it destroyed the completeness of the first two films, which I thought worked brilliantly together. It's the same with Final Destination 3, utterly undid two very good films with one hasty and generic sequel....

I doubt I'll even bother. I loved the first one. Didn't like the second or third.

i've never bothered seeing any of them either.
just doesn't interest me. and there's way too much hype for it to be nearly as good as is advertised.

Yawn. The original horror movie gorno is going into mindless franchise "But despite dieing the psycho REALLY did survive" territory what a surprise.

No, Jigsaw really is dead, I think they're coming at it from the poshumous puzzle angle and he'll appear through videos or flashbacks. I could be wrong. I don't think I will be. But you're right, mindless franchise is what it is. There's money to be made until audiences get sick of it. It's money over plot/inventiveness/art/creativity. I started out a fan, but I'm sick of it now. Originality gone....

I think 1 and 2 kind of connect, but not as much as 1 and 3, or 2 and 3.

Jigsaw is dead, but the game carries on.

Also, it's kind of a prequel to 1 as we go way back to before John starts setting up the games; back to his wife and apparently we get more of an insight into his mentality.

The Saw films are a horror film too far. It is like Chainsaw massacre, but 1000 times worse. It seems that today's horror films have flamingoed up. Like a cock up but much much bigger.I saw the trailers for the first movie. It was absolutely disturbing. The blood looked so authentic. I also saw Hostel trailers. I reckon if a kid sneaked in to watch these Saw Films, he or she would be traumatised. Why doesn't the classification board make these films an 18-adult? I feel even I am too young to stomach such macabre. Maybe I am just sensitive to extreme violence.

I saw it last week. Have to say that it was a bit of a let down plotwise, but the traps were fantastic.

I could make a movie. Just a few dog intestines and a rusty chainsaw splicing through the intestine. Then film it and call it, Paw 4
