With Matt gone, there is no action in this forum. I guess this time of year, everyone is stepping out more as the weather is beautiful right now. I know I have been away much more from my computer as well, spending much more time outside rather than trying to hide from the sun and the heat as I usually do during the hot summer months.

I was sitting outside on my front porch the other evening enjoying a brew and had a radio out there, and 97.1 The Point was giving away a pair of concert tickets to Austrailian Pink Floyd, so I ran inside and decided to try and be the 25th caller. I dialed a few times, and then got in and was the 15th caller, so I hung up and dialed again and the phone rang, and lo and behold, I was the 25th caller, so Friday I am off to see the show.

I have heard that this show is very very good, and some say that they are even better than Pink Floyd. Well, I will see, but everyone that has come away from this show has nothing but rave reviews for it. I do have a bootleg recording of them, and I gotta say it is very hard to believe that you arent listening to the original Floyd when you hear it.

Anyway, just thought I would pop in and try and keep the Nevada forum alive, LOL.

An excellent show at the Hard Rock Casino last night. It has been many years since I have been to that casino, and I was actually surprised at how nice the customers and the employees were. It was a very enjoyable evening due to everyone who attended and also because of the employees at the Hard Rock as well.

I went and saw the Australian Pink Floyd show, the only current tribute band to Pink Floyd, and endorsed by David Gilmour himself. It was an outstanding show. Every once in awhile the thought entered in my head that this was just a tribute band and not the real thing, but those thoughts quickly diminshed. These guys were amazing, and true to, if not better than the original. And the staff at the Hard Rock made this show even better. I havent been to the hard rock in about 6 or 7 years, and the staff were just great. Friendly, outgoing, and all that. Along with the band, I have to give the whole experience a 9 out of 10.

Thanks. Did ya see that HUGE computer system Har Rock uses to control the shows? Check it next time you're there. It's near the showroom entrance. Not the main one.

Not sure if I know what you mean. I only know of the one entrance into the showroom, and when you walk in, there is the light and soundboard. Very nice setup they have there.
