The whole world has an opinion about us, but nobody is going to save us.

As an American I'm not all ashamed to admit it. We have lots of caring, smart, wonderful people,

But good lord. America is Babylon 150%. Out of all the people I have met in my life, being an American, I can honestly say only a handful were good people. The rest were my friends, my colleagues, etc. but they were empty, vapid, mean people who cared only about themself.

Whenever I try to explain to bad Americans how their country has been high-jacked by Nazis and is a shadow of it's former self... they give me the stupidest fucking look ever. Even worse, if you try to discuss spiritual matters with most Americans, they judge you in the worst way and plug their ears. The majority of Americans are so ignorant and arrogant that they cannot break away from group mentallity. Revolutionaries and free thinkers are such a rarity that they are attacked or betrayed by fellow Americans...

I'm sorry, but God predicted this. So many nations have risen and fallen but America is at a tipping point to be the biggest disaster in history,

all the GOOD Americans, the minority of us, we are the last hope really.

Foreigners be damned, they cannot save us.

Awww the southern part of the US, I would have to say from personal experience, is so much more amiable. I am below the mason-dixon line and I think thats where the nice-ness begins LOL. No, im just kidding, I know there are northerners who are loveable, but not many im afraid to say. Im sure in the end the good guys will prevail over arrogance and harshness.

i'm also below the mason-dixon line and i've got to agree with metacomet about our national (and southern) character in general. people do not want to hear how our nation has been hijacked by the crazy neocons/nazis. the last 7 years has moved more wealth into the hands of the rich than at any other time in our history. as a nation we were lied to get us to attack iraq and they're talking about attacking iran. there's a lot of powerful people that want war spread across the middle east in order to gain influence over the oil there. i don't know enough to say exactly what will happen if we continue sending our money overseas to support our war machine and foreign empire but i do know there's not an infinite supply of it. what's worse is that we're not even taking care of our own people that really need it. if more of us don't stand up against these heinous acts america will fall and who do you think will come out on top of that?

The USA is seriously screwed if Ron Paul is not nominated.

it'd be great to see anyone in a government office willing to lead and instead of trying to keep us all frightened, in our places and shopping.

Well I guess we are screwed cuz Ron Paul doesn't really have much of a shot unless super tuesday he blows everyone away. His ad mgr should be fired. Sure his economic policy is great but his views on the other previous topics weren't mentioned much so as far as America goes, many of us don't see him as committed enough, plus his comment on how to bring the troops home shows he isn't capable of controlling our military. We need to leave Iraq in an organized fashion, not just yank everyone at once.

If Thompson was gone before the SC primary Huckabee would have beaten McCain with the evangelical votes. They are a voting superpower as we saw with GWB. So Huckabee has a fair shot. No one thought he would get this far. Though many say it is between Romney and McCain, I wouldn't count huckabee out yet. I don''t really even consider Ron Paul in the race. I saw 2 signs before the NH primary, if there were more I didn't notice. That isn't what I call good campaigning. I am undecided but I am leaning toward Huckabee and I am not sure the second choice. Huckabee/McCain would be an awesome ticket because then you would have the best of both worlds and real Military experience. I really don't care too much for McCain but I don't have anything against him either and since the military is a big issue, he is the most qualified, where someone like Paul can't say he has any experience with it. I also thought it was shady when he did ads saying he never refused care to the poor, wtf? He was an ER Dr, he had no choice and or knowledge of the patients income, that was his way of saying he hasn't ever really done anything for anyone but he's nice so give him a shot? I'm not convinced. I think he is a liberal who got lost and signed up at the wrong party by accident.IMO maybe my view on it will change as I see more of him in the future, but it is unlikely.
