This is going to be great. I'm sure Bruce just has his solo and side projects to fucking tease us.
Fifty eight years old and still kicking ass. :D

It's Gonna Be A Long Walk Home (http://www.skipjack.co.uk/2006/18-GonnaBeALongWalkHome.mp3) was played on the last tour acoustically, it's gonna be on the new album. I already can't wait to hear the full version. http://www.hipforums.com/forums/images/smilies/sunglasses.gif

Seriously though, I've always had a theory that everybody would like at least one Bruce Springsteen song if they listened. I like it all, but far far prefer the first three albums.

:D growing up in 1980's America I heard TONS of Bruce Springsteen. I never knew why everyone thought he was so great.
Do like his rendition of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" though. and I've always been fond of his sax player ... and hey, that bass guitarist is on the Sopranos! :D

It's actually the guitarist Steve Van Zandt on The Sopranos, the bass player is Gary Tallent :)
Ahh, 80s America...I'm guessing late 80s, after Born In The USA was released. I'm not too keen on that album myself, it has some good songs on but it lacks...something.

Yes, mid-late 80's.
Then early 90's with the scandal about his love life you just got even more sick of him ... well at least i did.

Yeah, that was an odd point. Seems like he mostly stays out of the spotlight though, apart from the rumours a few months ago about him and Patti (second wife) :)
Oh, speaking of Clarence (sax dude), he's had a film cameo (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVXGC896Jdw) or two of his own too :D

It's a good album, but it takes a few listens. There are some tracks that stand out immediately for whatever reason, and some that need to be heard a couple of times. This is standard for a Bruce album - I spent a year listening to his second album before really appreciating the songs on there (now I think it was his best album).
Is it Born To Run 2? Nah. Should it be? Probably not. That was then, this is now.
