Went way off thread, sorry. Yes there is a hippy culture alive and well in Michigan. Most of the hippies I know are my age or older. They are the ones who smoke behind closed doors, but come out to help their brothers and sisters when the need arises. "No payment expected, just pass it on if you get the chance." is what they would ask in return.Yeah, just from what I hear, the people I get stoned with nowadays just dont have the same spirit as the older hippies. We also smoke behind closed doors, though at the Ann Arbor Hash Bash we sure we able to put a giant cloud of smoke looming over Monroe Street.

I say "the best weed is not weed that is sold, it is weed that is shared".

Well, I'm not really from Michigan, I'm on the Canadian side but those around Detroit will know where Windsor is...That's me.

Michigan really does have a kind scene, but it's spread extremely thin. It's there though. You just have to know where to look. I'm in Warren right now, but I'm about to me moving downtown. Good times.
