ugh, im going to valpo u this year and now im all scared because all the cool folks seem to be going to bloomington. my boyfriend is trying to scare me by telling me valparaiso is filled with brainless yuppies. whose going to valpo this year? or even lives in valpo?

My sister goes to Valpo. She is a freshman and her name is Becca. She isn't a hippie but she isn't a yuppie either.

yeesh, that's what im afraid of. but although the town is full of yuppies, there are people from all over the world here! i met a couple of friends, both of which love the beatles. AND...i met a girl....WITH DREADS!!! :D i felt a lot safer after seeing that;)
but guess who doesn't get labor day off? fucking stupid if you ask me.

I just moved to Valpo from Indy. I kinda like the transition,but I really haven't met too many folks up here yet. I hope that things work out.

I just don't know how I am gonna take the winters here.lol( I hate winter)

I moved up here (I'm in Griffith) from Indy in January and the winters here really aren't much worse than there. I spend lots of time in Valpo. I work and go to school there.
