Just started watching this, after it's already been cancelled, another quality HBO series. It's fantastic! Features a foul-mouthed Lovejoy. Only two episodes through the first series and already the characters and plots are incredibly deep and promising...

Anyone else seen it?

I've seen it, never really got into it though. My parents are obsessed with it.
Maybe it's an age things. ;)

Another really good HBO series if you're interested is Carnival, and also Six Feet Under. I pretty much only watch HBO.

Never seen Carnival, but loved the first series of Six Feet Under. Later series sucked balls. Another fantastic HBO series I would recommend to anyone is The Wire, probably one of the best TV programs ever made. Really.

And of course Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is coming back for another series:D

I love HBO! Who says American TV is all shit?:)

Never heard of The Wire, and Curb Your Enthusiam sucks. :p

yeah I never liked Curb Your Enthusiasm .. to switch channels though (from HBO to Showtime) Dexter which is a Showtime show played over here on the FX channel stars Michael C. Hall (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0355910/) who was David in Six Feet Under. And that is FANTASTIC!

Carnival is excellent! I've seen it about on some UK network but can't remember which one. It took a bit to get into it, like you're not going to get totally sucked in on the first episode as it's a bit slowish, but it is SOOOOO good. I only saw the first series though.

And well, I still think Sopranos is good. Oh, and OZ! How COULD i forget Oz. That was an EXCELLENT storyline.

i couldn't watch curb your enthusiasm. that was such a frustrating show for me. loved carnivale, sopranos. i got showtime just to watch dexter. hated 6 feet under. fucking annoying people.

oh yeah, forgot about Dead Like Me. that was good as well. i really liked the concept behind that one.

KC ... glad to see someone else other than myself watches Dexter. I find it delightfully dark. (is there something wrong with me???)

i bet you are really far into the series? the most recent episode we had was when they found the girl in the goal of the hockey rink. (don't spoil it for me) just curious is all. :)

i've been travelling. i haven't even gotten to see most of them. stupid tivo didn't record them. i was going to look it up on showtime or something, see if they have all the episodes there to watch.

OZ was one of the most powerful prison dramas I have seen and I am a huge prison drama fan!

I really like dead like me, another drama that only ran 2 seasons, the second season was the better one IMO
didn't think it was done by HBO though
