However, it does annoy me when somebody joins a forum and instantly posts pictures and expects you to give them an ego boost. How about getting to know some people first before you let your vanity kick in? I mean, you have your own hipgallery...why not use that instead?

people tend to be nicer to you once they know what you look like. it's hard to be a dick to someone you've seen. though, it's hard to know if someone is actually posting a pic of themselves and not someone else. the horse pics are cool.
